Sharon Yvonne Stone was born on March 10 the year 1958 in Meadville, Pennsylvania, to accountant Dorothy Lawson and tool and die manufacturer as well as former worker in the factory Joseph William Stone II. Stone has three brothers: Michael, Kelly, and Patrick. Stone was in second grade at 5 years old. Her parents believed her to be gifted in the academic area. She was a graduate of Saegertown High School, located in Saegertown, Pennsylvania, in 1975. In 1975, the Miss Pennsylvania beauty competition saw Stone win Miss Crawford County. Stone and her aunt relocated from New Jersey to New Jersey to start a modelling career in the year 1977. They signed up for the Ford Modeling Agency after a short period of time. The next step was Europe in the course of a year living in Milan, Paris and other cities. Stone did, however, become frustrated with modeling and acting in Europe. She decided to continue her career as an actress while living in Europe. At 20, she appeared in the Woody Allen film "Stardust Memories" with mixed receptions.
