Alves were born Rodrigo Alves on 30 July 1983 in Sao Paulo, Brazil, to a Brazilian mother as well as an British father. Roserval Alves was Roserval's father. He's from Portugal and arrived in Brazil in the year 1940. The family started out in farming, but they expanded into retailing and shopping centres. As a child, young, her grandfather bought their Barbie dolls. Alves was born a male. But, she visualized her self as a girl around about three years to six. Her favorite toys were dolls and was also able to cross-dress. Alves believes the person shouldn't be categorized by their gender. 8] She was shy as a child and was also bullied. In her teen years, Alves had a hormone malfunction, and high levels of estrogen which led to the breasts to expand; Alves' other traits were picked on by the bullies. [9][7] Her family has several grocery stores in Brazil which has helped make them successful, however, as of 2018, Alves has not made any revenue from the grocery stores. Alves was 18 when she moved to London where she studied publicity in the London College of Communication. Her maternal grandmother left her money.
