Teri Hatcher

Teri HatcherTeri Lynn Hatcher was born on December 8, 1964 in Palo Alto, California. Esther Hatcher her mother, who was a Lockheed Martin computer programmer. Owen Hatcher, her father was an electrician and nuclear physicist. Teri trained in ballet at the San Juan School of Dance and was born in Sunnyvale, California. Fremont High School was where she was the Featherettes dance captain, and was awarded the "Most likely to be a Solid Gold Dancer" award. Hatcher graduated in engineering and mathematics from De Anza College after which she also took acting classes in San Francisco's American Conservatory Theater. Teri admitted that her uncle Richard Hayes Stone had sexually assaulted her starting at when she was just five. She also assisted Santa Clara County prosecutors in their investigation into Stone following the 14-year-old victim of Stone's took her own life. Stone was sentenced to prison for four charges of molestation. He died from colon cancer while in prison.
